When you want something too badly and you put in a lot of work into it, it’s very easy to get frustrated if you haven’t accomplished exactly what you want. Whether it be at work, in your own business, or in your dating life, a disconnect between your current achievements and your ultimate goal can create tremendous frustration, negativity, and hopelessness.
And that’s all okay. Those feelings are perfectly normal on your journey. It is time to take a step back and focus on what you HAVE accomplished over the past 6 months, 12 months, etc. Be proud of yourself for moving in a positive direction. Be proud of yourself for all the work and progress you have accomplished so far. Look how much you’ve changed in the past year. Ultimately, you’re just trying to create a better life for yourself or your family (if applicable). As long as you are doing it ethically and honestly and doing what matters to YOU, you have nothing to be ashamed of regardless of where you currently are
